The Mom has landed

goodgothgirlMy Mom is here, and boy, she is a world of different now that she's on medication. My Dad called to ask me something, and she insisted on talking to him so they could have a romantic conversation! Now you all remember that I was worried about them getting divorced, right? Right. Apparently, I worried for nothing. I'm glad about that.
So Mom is currently ensconced on the couch at home, napping with the cats. (She had to get up at 4:30 a.m. to catch her plane.) I'm really looking forward to this weekend -- she's in a great mood and we're really going to have a good time. I love my Mom when she's being a Mom.
