I'm *so* amused!
Dec. 8th, 2003 07:12 pmso now I have ... very ... poufy ... hair! *grin*
I got my hair cut tonight (finally!) and, for the first time, paid lots of money to have a master stylist make my hair do *something*. She gave me a basic cut (trimmed a bit on the top and the back, cut the sides a bit shorter) which I'll be able to do anything with. How do I know? Because she straightened my hair with a round brush and a blow dryer.
I have glamour hair!!!
Seriously, I should be slipping into a little black dress with high heels and sparkly jewelry to pull off this look! It's essentially the same shape as it is when it's curly ... just it's now in big poufy waves. I can't begin to explain how amused I am about this. It's so *not* my hair, and that was exactly what I was going for.
Of course, the minute I sleep on it or get it wet, it'll all be gone. I'm going to try to teach myself how to do this, but I know that I'll never put it in quite this shape again -- and that'll be on *purpose*. I think there's lots of potential for hair fun now that I know how to temporarily straighten it, but the big pouf version isn't for me. At least not without the aforementioned acoutremonts.
But this is *still* amusing as hell! *teehee*
